Bringing Up Our Enemies' Child Webinar Discussion
Bringing Up Our Enemies’ Child dives into the nuances of what it means for a community to come to terms with the impacts of Conflict-Related Sexual Violence, in general, and the dynamics of raising children born of rape, in particular.

Bringing Up Our Enemies’ Child comes at a time where there continues to be a global build-up condemning Conflict-Related Sexual Violence. It also comes at a time when the whole question of access to abortion for survivors of rape has come right to the top of international conversation as a result of the US’ conservative Supreme Court majority allowing a restrictive new abortion law to take effect in Texas. The film journeys across individual, family and community boundaries to challenge policymakers, humanitarian actors, academics and politicians to reimagine and deepen our understanding of the complexities of sexual violence.
